With effect from 1 January 2019, foreign employees are required to be covered under SOCSO’s Employment Injury Scheme. Under that category, only the employer contributes.
Therefore, the employer is required to register their foreign employees via their PERKESO Assist Portal. PERKESO will generate an SSFW number which should be entered in the employees’ profiles in PayrollPanda, in order to be included in the SOCSO submission files.
